Mixing Mediums.
I’ve had a deep love and fascination with paper since I was kid. These installations combine two every day mediums, paper and lighting as I try to reimagine their application in new ways.
A 2020 paper installation running up the face of the ‘Exorcist Steps’ in Washington, DC. To create this temporary installation I folded 2500 pieces of origami into 2 distinct shapes to convert the otherwise spooky staircase into a colorful, vibrant scene.
